Brent Melroy received his Master's in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 2006 and works at our West Wichita facility. After graduation Brent worked on an APTA accredited manual therapy fellowship with The Manual Therapy Institute from 2007 to 2011. During this training he became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. The fellowship training that he received focused on manual and manipulative hands-on treatment for the spine and the extremities.
Brent has worked the past 5 years in outpatient orthopedic clinics with experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. Brent has had multiple years of treating work place injuries and has extensive experience with Work Conditioning and Work Hardening programs. In addition to his worker's compensation experience, he is also a certified test administrator for WorkSteps employment testing, Advanced Ergonomics employment testing, and BTE computerized employment testing.
Brent is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2005. He is also an adjunct faculty member through Wichita State University since 2011.
